Tan Seng Kok
Tan Seng Kok (B.1971) graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 1993 and received his Master of Fine Arts from Birmingham City University, UK (BIAD) in 2012. His works have been exhibited in Singapore, Taiwan, Greece, Italy and the United Kingdom. He has received awards such as Honourable Mentions in Philip Morris Group of Companies Singapore Art Awards 1997 & 2002; Highly Commended for The 3rd CDL Singapore Sculpture Award Singapore; and Highly Commended UOB Painting of the Year 2019.
His research focuses on exploring alternative ways to look at society’s existing power and structural dynamics. His work has been exhibited in Singapore, Asia and Europe.
